Discussion concerning the cabinet resolution to revise qualifications, criteria and privileges of Smart Visa applicants

On 7 December 2018, Mr. Pob Ekaraphanich, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Judiciary, met with representatives of the Office of the Board of Investment (BOI) at the One Start One Stop Investment Center (OSOS), Chamchuri Square Building, Bangkok, for a discussion concerning the cabinet resolution to revise qualifications, criteria and privileges of Smart Visa applicants. The resolution aims to authorize the Thai Arbitration Institute of the Office of the Judiciary (TAI) as a government agency certifying qualification of expertise and working status of foreign arbitrators regarding the Smart Visa application. This is to facilitate and encourage more foreign arbitrators in Thailand.
